Fumiko Takeda Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Fumiko uses intaglio printmaking for her art. More than twenty of her prints include flowers and (or) birds and twenty-seven examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Fumiko generally draws the shape of her picture subjects accurately but typically simplifies their coloring.
