Yukio’s art included more than ten intaglio prints with flowers or birds. Nineteen examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Yukio used art to express his personal feelings rather than to simply draw what he saw. Consequently, his designs are difficult to interpret and it is not always clear whether his flower and bird subjects had counterparts in the real world.
