The twenty-one pictures shown in this gallery were drawn by Suiseki and included in an 1820 picture book entitled Suiseki Gafu Nihen (i.e., Picture Album by Suiseki Second Volume). Click on a picture to enlarge it. Suiseki’s abbreviated drawing style was influenced by the art of the Shijō School led by Goshun Matsumura.
