Toyosaburō Kaga (1872-1944) authored an undated picture book entitled Tsubaki Fu (Camellia Album). It included the 52 pictures of camellia (Camellia japonica) cultivars shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Toyosaburō drew his picture subjects accurately, typical of Japanese artists working at that time.
